I don't know much about Gonzalez but given his ko record I was surprised at how often he hurt Frampton. He exposed Carl's lack of head/upper body movement.

That said, I had Carl winning almost every round, and some of his boxing was beautiful. He's far from perfect but he's a fighter you can get behind. There's a good mix of slickster and warrior in him.

Good performance from Frampton. He's a decent guy for Rigo to show off some flashy skills. Rigo will have a field day with Frampton's lack of head movement and defense.

most people never even heard of the list of C-graders that have dropped/hurt Rigo. Random slow Japanese guy (what his name?), cordoba (who?), marroquin (who dat?), donaire (that hype job whose best win was vic darchinyan?)..

He handled his business and schooled Gonzalez after he settled down in the second. Beautiful jab, nice educated right hand, worked the body well and overcame the dreadful first round.

I'm still in Frampton's corner, even if he faces Rigo. War Jackal!

I agree, I'm a big Frampton fan but Gonzalez did expose some *****s in his armour tonight.

The "slick boxer" like Mayweather is in style now, so everyone is jumping on that band wagon. I thought Rigo got way too much credit for the Donaire fight and definitely didn't dominate the fight and he was dropped.

I had Donaire winning 4-5 rounds in that fight and the knock down. It was actually a close fight. I'm sure most people who comment didn't even watch the fight and just know Rigo is a "slick boxer" and won a decision, so he must have "schooled" Donaire..and he did but it wasn't as dominating as people think...

Frampton will give Rigo a lot of problems if works on his head movement... I mean I don't see why he can't...

                    Rigo obviously favorite though.
Rigo goes down off balance some times. Donaire teed up on him with the cleanest left hook he could muster, when Rigo thought they were breaking had his hands down and Rigo got right back up. Id say his chin is underrated quite a bit.

I don't understand how people like you can watch so much boxing and still be so clueless about what you're watching. It's not even that complicated. I can't imagine the nightmare it must be talking about more complicated sports like baseball and/or football with people like you.

Watch Rigo-Donaire a 2nd or 3rd time you moron. Perhaps in slow mo to give your brain time to register what's happening.
