Comments Thread For: Scott Quigg Wipes Out Kiko Martinez in Two Rounds

Manchester Arena, Manchester - WBA 'regular' super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg (31-0-2, 23KOs) made a statement by stopping former IBF beltholder Kiko Martinez (32-6, 24KOs) in two rounds.

Many will compare this win to Carl Frampton's two victories over Martinez. The first time Martinez was stopped in nine rounds in 2013. They had a rematch in 2014, with Martinez losing a twelve round unanimous decision.

Damn, they phased Kiko out of the division. He's pretty much a non-factor now.

Potential opponent Donaire and Quigg both put their opponent out in two rounds.

Quigg/Frampton, winner fights Rigo. Make it happen.

A fight with Donaire, Rigo or Frampton has to be next.

Got off to a shaky start, thought Kiko Pressure was going to be a problem for him after watching the 1st round but Quigg caught in with a great shot in the second and finished him off! Today Quigg and Frampton made me even more excited about those 122-126 Divisons

                  I want Quigg/Donaire and Frampton vs. LSC/Mares.

kiko musta been shot cause of those wars. he won the first round but let quigg enjoy his moment. Still dont rate him technique wise. If kiko had the legs to step back from those hooks and throw a straight right hand, but he's obviously not able to do it.
