for me, he just needs to shut his mouth, make weight, accept defeats, and start really boxing instead of head first trading
Retire! Never get involved with boxing in any capacity again!

He earns respect by taking the sport seriously. Multiple times he's missed weight, has tested positive for drugs, doesn't train, doesn't spar, doesn't run.

For his biggest fight on PPV against the lineal champ he didn't train, didn't even bother making it to the Wildcard gym and spend most of his time smoking pot.

          How can anyone respect this?

You really believe he didn't train for the Martinez fight, then how the **** did he made weight?

If all he did was sit on his couch, eat cereal and smoke weed he wouldn't have made weight. I believe he train twice as hard for that fight, took PED's, diuretics, you name it, because he killed himself to make weight.

The moda****a can't even make 170 pounds now. That's just a storyline they invented before the fight and a bullsheet excuse in case he got dominated, which he did.

He should do all the things you said but he really is just not that good. He is really short on stamina. I don't know if he is naturally short winded or if he doesn't train hard but if he can't throw more punches than he has been throwing he will never beat the better fighters. He is slow and clumsy and his footwork is terrible. He is easy to hit. He hits hard and has a good chin but that's not enough to off set his faults. He needs to KO these average fighters with ease if he was all that good but he struggles with them and really good fighters beat the hell out of him. He might not have what it takes to be a champion. I think he will never be that good no matter who trains him.

By respecting the sport he competes in... The man has no respect for the sport his father made a legacy in and is making his legacy look like cr**
