ROFL Arum must be laughing his ass off hearing about this Good decision on his part letting go of Jr. IMO. Jr wasn't serious for the Sergio fight & has never been since.

He tried that already. Fonfara beat him up and sent him back down. I'm just chuckling over Chavez' comments not too long ago that he would like to get back to 160. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Right now Froch is thinking that he shouldn't have retired and really should have pushed harder for that Chavez fight.

Marcos Antonio "Dorado" Reyes believes former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will be unable to make the super middleweight limit of 168-pounds on Friday.

"Yes, Chavez Jr. not making weight is something that I've thought about, because [making weight is] something that he doesn't take seriously. I doubt he could make 169 pounds. And if that happens we are going to negotiate and I'm going to look for an economic benefit - but I have every intention of fighting," said Reyes to ESPN Deportes.

No big surprise here. The kid has never had to work for anything in his life so he never learned about discipline. People were always there to make excuses for his **** ups and him not conducting himself like a professional.
A couple more losses and he is done at the elite level.

He is not too small for 175. He is too limited as a fighter for 175. At 175, he loses all his advantages he ever had.

Unless he fights at heavyweight, he will never make weight.
