Lara and Mayweather have almost the same style. They pose a bit and potshot, and run. I rarely see Lara clinch, though. Makes one wonder why Lara is not getting paid the same millions when he's getting KO wins once in a while.

Doesn't have the quality W's. Doesn't speak English or not very well anyway. From a culture which has few loyal fans of pro boxing. Since he doesn't speak English he can't exactly garner extra attention with **** talking. Probably a dozen other major differences between Lara & Mayweather that makes the difference between Lara making 6 digits usually & Mayweather making 8 digits usually.

They only want Floyd in chess matches against guys who don't play chess... Lara simply beats Floyd to the jab... easily... And maybe even drops him in the process.

Your opinion that Lara will be embarrassed is just that, an opinion. it isn't a fact. What is a fact is HBO controls if this fight gets made. What is also a fact is there is no impediment to Lara fighting on HBO, other than your opinion that Haymon will not let Lara.

How about Team GGG just make an offer. If Haymon or Lara turns it down, nothing left for me to say. If HBO or GGG turns it down, be an adult, call them on it and watch GGG take on the DWOTY or GMOTY instead.

Lara is the one who supposedly is looking for the fight so it is in his hands to get clearance from Haymon and then to make the approach to HBO to get accepted to fight on their network. Once this is done, they can approach Golovkin's people to see if they are interested. If K2 or GGG refuses, then the blame falls to them and I will be glad to call them on it. But it is not their responsibility to solve any problems Lara may have in fighting on HBO. That is entirely up to Lara to solve.

vanes isnt as pretty as lara but brings more skill and power to the table
in my eyes.
for years vanes has been looked on by the alete as too much pain for the gain.
at 154 vanes whups floyd and makes him cry.

The boxing purist in me would much rather see this matchup than Floyd vs Berto or Khan. But it's all wishful thinking.
