Comments Thread For: Hughie: Even Steward Said Tyson Bad Style For Klitschko

LONDON - Heavyweight prospect Hughie Lewis Fury says his latest training camp has been boosted by news of Tyson Fury's world heavyweight title shot against Wladimir Klitschko and that he fully expects his cousin to bring the belts back to England when the pair meet on October 24 in Germany.

Twenty-year-old Hughie faces durable Brazilian veteran George Arias on July 25 at Derby Arena and admits he couldn't be happier right now.

“It's a good thing for the whole family that Tyson has finally got his shot,” he said. “I'm over the moon for him.

Wladmir is a good fighter but people underestimated Fury. You will all get shocked because Tyson is bad ass. I really like the guy, he has good movement, nice jab and can have power behind those shots.

"Tyson loves tall fighters" - Wlad does pretty well against them, too.

"Steward said that the next heavyweight champion of the world is going to be Tyson Fury. I heard him say it" - That's not him saying he's a bad style for Wlad.

I don't hate Fury's chances. I think Fury is the best big guy Klitschko will have fought. I think Fury's got some strength & surprisingly good infighting skills that will have Klitschko needing to re-strategize on all that holding he does. I haven't seen the line on this fight, but I feel like all the value is in betting on Fury as he's gonna be a bigger dog than he deserves to be.

I like Fury in this match-up, however he has to stay moving laterally for the entirety of the bout

Not sure Fury has the strength to break free of those clinches.

It means nothing anyway and could be misconstrued. Manny could have simply meant Tyson had the tools to be a champ after Wlad was done, not necessarily him beating Wlad to win that distinction.

That's literally, exactly what I was implying when I said "that's not him saying that he's a bad style for Wlad"

Hopefully others will take that educated viewpoint into account rather than just assuming Manny meant Fury will specifically beat Wlad to become champ, as many Fury fans seem to have got into their minds, lol.

Well, if Hughie Fury says that Tyson will beat Wlad, it must be so. Cancel the fight and have Wlad ship the belts to Tyson now. And whatever else Hughie says, take that to the bank too. Hughie Fury! Hughie Fury! Hughie Fury! Hughie Fury!
