    Should Arce defeat Alvarez...

will he start to get some credit as far as pound for pound lists go? I'm sorry if this has been covered before.

Arce hasn't lost in a long time, he's beaten some pretty good fighters since losing to Carbs (although no real world class guys).

He's as exciting a fighter as you'll find and he always comes to fight. Alvarez is definitely a world class fighter and should Arce beat him without and controversy I think people should start to think about him as a top 10 p4p guy.

    holla at me...

If Arce can use his face first style and ultimately walk thru Rosendo Alvarez he will elevate himself to the top of the hierarchy...in other words if he can beat Alvarez with his style then any illusions that he is a smaller TV freindly version of Arturo Gatti should be squashed.

I believe that Rosendo is an extremely dangerous fight and with Arce's style it does not sound like a perfect fight from a matchmakers point of view...I like Alvarez by late stoppage.

I agree. Alvarez has ben fighting as high as bantam lately and he's been fighting there well. I think he will outlast Arce and stop him late in a thriller.

You really are just summing up my general sediments.

So far, I see it as a case of you reading my mind and plaigarizing my thoughts.

Though Alverez is past his prime, that guy is still very dangerous.

Depends on how he finishes off Alvarez.

I think he already deserves to be in top 10...

There are lots of people that have just been booted off...

JM Marquez, Morales, Tarver, Hopkins, etc.
He definately deserves to be there right now!
