It's a great thing that Floyd is taking some of these fighters under his wing. They get to see the hard work and the spoils. Broner unfortunately didn't seem to take heed, but I can really see a Spence or Gervonta Davis soaking this all up for their benefit.

If he's hanging with him while training the guy knows thats not true. From all accounts Mayweather trains like no one else.

And Broner seemed delusional pre-Mayweather so he was destined to be what he's becoming with or without Mayweather's influence. He sees what he wants to see & ignores what he wants to ignore around guys like Mayweather.

It's not easy to find a truly great young fighter. Maybe Broner didn't do anything wrong, maybe hanging with Mayweather helped him, but maybe in the end Broner just wasn't quite good enough, no shame in that. There are millions of boxers in the world, and only a hand full of them will ever be great, no matter who you are it's hard to find those.

                Question:
Is there any part of you that actually believes that statement?

                  pinoy in boxing

Why hasn't #48 taken a pinoy under his wing?
As a matter of fact, #48 has not made any attempt
to elevate any pinoy in boxing. Why?
