That's how I've been reading people have been perceiving it. Why would Hearn want to lose control over his fighters?

I don't believe he was behind or involved with this DeGale move and the talk of more fighters going to Haymon is just to cover for something he can't prevent, not something he's actively engineering.
I think it's obvious thinking about it now that Hearn had nothing to do with it.

I wouldn't go as far to say he doesn't like it but he has hardly been vocal since the news has he?

If he had anything to do with it or stood to earn exposure/money from it then we would have had a 2 hour Kugan interview by now I would have thought.

Yes and no. He can sign all the top fighters, but if no one is watching then PBC still fails.

LOL - people thinking DeGale being on the PBC is going to increase his fanbase. PBC has yet to increase the fanbase of some of it's biggest names like Thurman.

He must be. Only sham promoters like Eddie Hearn and Lou DiBella work with Al Haymon.

Hearn will not stand in the way of DeGale, or any other Matchroom fighter, from signing with Haymon to fight on the PBC platform in the United States. PBC has television deals with Showtime, CBS, ABC, ESPN, Spike TV, NBC, NBC Sports and Bounce TV.

Roc Nation might only have 2 name fighters but both names are a bigger deal then anybody on PBC right now. How is HBO hurting? They are having their best year in like damn near a decade. Did you see the numbers Canelo just did? Canelo vs Cotto is going to do monster PPV numbers. And here is the key HBO fights make money. Something not a single PBC fight has done. All have lost millions. PBC has hurt Showtime. But PBC hasn't done a thing to hurt HBO, their ratings are all up from last year when PBC didn't exist.

Fact is saying besides Golden Boy and Top Rank Haymon has no problems with anyone is a lie. Top Rank, Golden Boy, Roc Nation, HBO, Main Events that's a long list and a huge percentage of the star fighters in boxing right now. Haymon has a lot of fighters but other then Mayweather not any stars compared to the big named fighters from that list.
I pretty much agree with your post other than the part about Ward. Ward is not on anyone's P4P list at any position much less top 3. That alone damages a well presented post.
