Even Wilder would be ashamed of this fight.

I don't think it's competitive at all but Wilder fans mocking it seems cheeky.
Wilder never got 1/1000000000 the love from the boxing establishment Joshua gets coming up. I don't think there's anything wrong with fighting Cornish for your 14th pro fight, that's pretty standard operating procedure for heavies. But the boxing establishment laughed at Wilder all the way to his whooping of Stiverne. The same people are treating Joshua as if he's already beaten Klitschko..

I guess it depends on who you listen to. When Wilder was coming up he had a great deal of hype, so lets not try and paint the narrative that Wilder is hard done by.

If Joushua reaches 29 and is still fighting the level of comp he is now then he will deserve the backlash from that like Wilder has.

Come on, Joshua is already fighting the level of opposition Wilder faced up until Stiverne.

The problem I have is with the promotional side - Eddie Hearn has been giving it chat for a while now about letting him go and fighting a 'big name' on Sept 12. Name-dropping Price/Fury/Chisora/Wach/Thompson and then fighting a Scottish doorman is absolutely laughable.

What.A.Letdown. Who the hell has Cornish fought? Nobody that's who.

Only 7 of his 21 opponents have winning records.

Joshua drops another big stiff idiot on his punk ass.

UK fans proclaim him bigger than the second coming of Christ.

More like Wilder is upset that Joshua stole one of the guys on his hit list.

                    And we would be right.

Gary gonna bring the heat. You don't get a name like Gary Cornish for being a pastie.

Haha, it's an Eddie Hearn special, teases the fans by dropping names like Wach & Thompson on Twitter, then announces he's fighting Gary ****in Cornish. No doubt it'll be on a "stacked" card tho...
