This baffles me. Can you imagine if we had seen Rigo at the peak of athletic skills? He was probably even faster, quicker, better chin, etc.

We are seeing a late career Rigo fighting at the end of his divisional potential. We would have seen the RiGod rise from 4 divisions or so.

            Great fight.

I kinda see it going the same way Crawford and Gamboa went. Rigo might pull ahead with his tricky style, but as the fight goes on Loma will start catching Rigo with those nasty bodyshots.

            Loma by late TKO

Also: Gamboa is not nearly as skilled as Gamboa from a technique standpoint. He's definitely more physically gifted though.
People who said that Crawford won just based on his size are delusional. Once he addapted he started to put on a boxing clynic with his right jab, counters and well placed bodyshots.

This will be a great fight.., I'm so interested to see how they deal with each other..

              Loma has the size
Rigo has the skills, though loma is very skilled as well..
I think Rigo will have to be razor sharp vs loma and can't get caught and dropped

This is how fights get made ... eliminate the BS and let's just do it.

                Guillermo Rigondeaux, setting the example

Indeed, this is what makes this fight so intriguing... And unlike the May/Pac fight, where Manny was always trying to "find" Floyd even after getting down on the cards, neither Loma or Rigo will allow themselves to get down so drastically on points.... Which means you're guaranteed to have very competitive rounds, rounds in which neither party is willing to hand over "in hopes" that they'll catch a late round TKO... Rigo and Loma are extremely competitive in that regard... While Floyd is also very competitive like this, Manny isn't as point oriented so we saw him putting too much faith that rounds might swing his way(that his sporadic attacks here and there would be enough to win the judge's favor)...

I'm already getting excited thinking about what the exchanges are even going to look like... They're both so quick and move so well and in their fights always get the better of the other fighter whenever they get into serious exchanges... It's gonna be like clashing steel in there... The HBO commentary crew will have to refrain from jizzing all over themselves as they call the action.
