    Amir Khan is staying mentally and physically ready, stating that he won't allow WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. to gain an advantage by catching him off-guard with a last minute announcement.

    The boxing world is still waiting for 'Money' (48-0-26KOs) to confirm his opponent for September 12, but despite reports suggesting it will be Andre Berto, Khan is not giving up on trying to taunt Mayweather Jr. into springing a surprise.

    He feels there may be a chance that Mayweather is using Berto's name to play a mind game. Berto and Khan are training partners under coach Virgil Hunter.

              Mayweather I know you read these articles and posts you sensitive bastard. Challenge Cotto for the 160 strap. Get De La Hoya to fight GGG to blow up his name. Then fight GGG for the 50th fight. If not, MayPac2 for another 80-100 million next May or Sept at Cowboys Stadium for the 50th fight!! Khan is a bum, he has Garcia and Prescott problems!

                  I agree that Khan is annoying, but I think its pretty clear that he keeps being asked about May weather. I doubt hr brings him up randomly.

                              Khan is wrong about Mayweather announcing the Pacquiao fight 6 weeks before the actual fight. He announced it on February 20th which is clearly 10 weeks before the fight.
