I know he was signed with Don King. He is fighting on Showtime on Saturday on Chavez Jr. undercard. I think this kid is a real talent and was wondering if he is with PBC.
Anyone know if Amir Imam is signed with Al Haymon?

I thought Don King just had some deal between him and Showtime or something like that...PBC doesn't have him listed on their website, for whatever that's worthComment

I don't know but he probably is. Haymon gets paid by over 200 boxers now. He surely needs to sign a few hundred more boxers and then maybe he will manage enough boxers. When Haymon controls every boxer in the top 30 of every weight class he might be satisfied.Comment

I've seen very little of Imam. He doesn't stick out in my memory at all. I'll be sure to watch this weekend.Comment

I've heard people on here talk about how good he is, and how he's the next big name in the sport.
I'm watching his past fights, and I'm not impressed.
His defense is bad. He gets hit by punches he should not. Look at how he got hit in the Castillo and Ugas fights.
He also doesn't seem to have the strongest chin. He got rocked by Ugas, and got floored by Maldonado.Comment

Not with Haymon, but there must be some sort of deal/fight agreement as he's fought on the undercard of 3 Haymon/Showtime events in the last 7 months.Comment
