Give me berto over Kahn please. . Fck con artistBritish star Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs) believes that both he and Andre Berto are the two fighters in the running to face WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (48-0, 26KOs) on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Khan and Berto are stablemates under trainer Virgil Hunter. They also share the same adviser in Al Haymon, who also works with Mayweather.
Khan has long been rumored to be the opponent for Mayweather. But every time it appears the Bolton boxer will land the opportunity, Mayweather comes out of left field with a different selection.

A lot of them are idiots. Why does this forum hate Khan so much?
I'm not really a fan of his either but he's clearly the best opponent for Floyd right now
It's like one person sarcastically said "It would be cool if instead of Khan he fought Andre Berto or Rod Salka!" and the rest of you took it seriously
Andre Berto? Seriously? Bad joke. He loses more often than he wins nowadays.
Khan is a bit fruity.. Dresses funny... Former darling of the UK hype machine now dumped for Brook... Is a ******.. I'm sure he has his share of hate on here but at least it's a competitive fight instead of a laughing stockComment

I'm indifferent. Khan doesn't beat Mayweather. Although I won't lie that I'll be happy if he does get it. Every fighter that gets in there has a chance, every one. At the end of the day Khan should focus on building his own career.Comment

"Floyd is the boss in his own promotional company like I'm the boss in mine." I'd been wondering who was the brains behind that global powerhouse, Khan Promotions! Khan is also a hugely skilled boxer with an undeniable fragile aspect who, despite the chin thing, merits the opponent slot for Mayweather in September as much as anybody else does imo. What's truly pathetic, however, and shown in everything he has to say on the subject - which is plenty - is that Amir Khan obviously believes he's a boxing superstar whose status in the game already matches that of the man he's so desperate to face.Comment
