If Danny can out box Lucas, Amir could be a clinic on him. it seems like a big step up, and maybe is, but I think Amir is ready, he's been fighting guys who are tough without the big name, and quite frankly, I don't think he's really respected any of them which is why he's gotten hit.

People need to watch that garcia matthysse fight again
some serious rose tinted glasses/revisionists history going on with that fight
I get it. lucas was way overhyped going into that bout but look objectively at each round.
lucas easily won the first half, gets injured, loses the second half with an additional point deduction
people talk about the outcome like it mirrored mayweather maidana 2.
most press scorecards had it 7-5

This is a legit fight. Matthysse justified and Garcia fighting scrubs and scraping by on gimee decisions! The world is good @ 140lbs.

Trouble with Imam-Matthysse is Haymon may bid on the bout, which basically means it won't happen.
I'm not sure Matthysse is all that far from the end, 33 in September.

Yeah Lucas is getting old, but it's hard to put that "aging stamp" on fighters today. They fight less, and spend a lot of time making sure they recover the proper way, than you add in the peds and these dudes add a lot of years on there career.
Not saying Lucas is juicing, but he sure as heck wasn't hitting this hard when he fought zab.
