Duck to the right:"mom, Carl talking to us about Gennady again!"

Duck in the middle/Carl Froch:"whaat, I'm just telling him about how dangerous Triple G is!"

Duck to the left: "mother, should I listen to him?"

If Joe would've fought Carl then Carl wouldn't have had the resume he does, so he can thank Joe for his career

Ending your career fighting some guy barely anyone has heard of twice (Groves) and calling that a world class opponent is far from ideal. Calzaghe dominated his opponents, Froch was always in competitive fights that in many cases could have gone either way. Calzaghe would have knocked him out.
comments like this clearly show your lack of knowledge . Calzaghe did not have one punch knockout power, he may have ***** slapped Carl about the ring for 12rnds, but knockout the hardest chin in boxing??

It would have been a war IMO, with Joe edging it if he could keep control in the later rounds

still think joe would have beaten carl

joes style is painful to watch but still extremely effective, if it could frustrate hopkins it could frustrate froch i think

guy basically hacked boxing by realizing 2000 annoying pittypats rattle your brain just as much as 1 big shot does

It's an exaggeration to call Kessler a beast.

Who'd he really beaten going into the fight with Joe?

He was a very good, tough fighter though.

Froch is delusional. Joe Calzalghe was a complete once in a generation fighter. Could make adjustments during a fight to any fighter and find a way to always win. He's workrate and skill were second to none. I'm sorry Froch, you are just not in the same league as Joe. He would of schooled you in the ring.

I respect both Joe and Carl as fighters, but they both annoy me, and they both talk nonsense.

But for me, Joe was clearly more talented, whereas Carl had more ambition and was willing to fight whoever. (apart from GGG and DeGale in his final year)

But let's not pretend that Joe went out of his way to try and fight the best. He was happy defending his WBO belt against whoever was available. Joe was a great fighter, but his resume from Eubank to Lacy is awful. Also, the SMW division from 98-2005 was very weak. He could have moved up to LHW much sooner than he did to really push for the biggest fights, but he was happy defending his lightly regarded title against mainly subpar opposition.

Do you think Joe would have fought GGG?

Joe could have fought Dawson or Pavlik before he retired, but instead he chose a near 40 year old version of Roy, even though he'd said that Roy was past his best, and a fight against him would be pointless.

What's Carl's best win? Lucian Bootay? Lol please Joe came to the states and fought a prime Roy Jones Jr. and knocked him out.
                      Ha!
