yea that may be true but its watered down considering there is like 4 champions per division and some sanctioning bodies have super and regular and interim champs. I think Floyd has have beaten lots of champions maybe more than any boxer but champion status these days are kind of watered down. Just my opinion. BTW I think Floyd is hovering around anywhere from 20-15 in all time status and that's a great spot.

I'm sure its Mayweather, but I can't be bothered to add 'em up though cuz its an apples to oranges comparison. Ali fought mostly in eras when there was only 1 champion per division & Mayweather has fought in eras when there have been 4+ champions per division. Also Ali only fought in one division & Mayweather has fought in 5 divisions therefore being exposed to even more champions.

On Ali's era there was only the WBC.... Now we have "4" main organizations.

Anyways, Prime George Foreman and Prime Frazier > Floyd's Resume

You are talking about arguably the best ever against floyd who is top 100 ATG

        No contest......

As soon as multiple belts started happening stats like this became irrelevant comparing over eras.

Ali was in one weight class..Floyd was in a handful.....how would Ali beat more world champions? When he was the world champion the majority of the time in the HW class.
