Dude, they're not good numbers when you factor in the amount of money that's being spent to put these cards on. If the numbers were as good you as you claim then why arent advertisers tripping over each other for airtime on these cards?

Just a few cards ago, re-runs of full house beat out a PBC card.

people still won't listen to me when i say that PBC is a sinking ship. mediocre numbers, over paying for mismatches, mediocre production, mediocre commentary. ingredients for a disaster.
They expected to be cash flow negative for some time. Relax..

No the ratings are that bad. Again you have to factor in the ridiculous amount of money PBC is spending to air each event. You got reruns of shows that get higher ratings and don't cost a fraction to air like the PBC shows. They have to pay millions to the network, then millions for the inflated purses to the fighters, millions to advertise the show on radio, websites, tv promos ect. You need much higher ratings to attract tv sponsors to recoup the millions you are flushing down the toilet each event. They are trying to attract casual fans but lets be honest all PBC has done is galvanize hard core boxing fans. Casual fans are not watching and hard core fans are just b itching about the mismatches and crappy quality of the production.

Good god you know NOTHING about the PBC. NOTHING. JACK S***

Here read and educate your a$$. So tired of people just talking out their a$$e$ to me like I'm 5. I'm a GD MBA from a top school and have worked in private equity.
The most powerful man in boxing and the former mutual fund manager who delivered him more than $425 million in institutional capital share a chuckle when they think back to the meeting that started them down the path to prime time on NBC.

Boxing hasn't been in the mainstream eye for decades. Going to take a minute..
There is no tangible evidence these ratings will turn around. Broner and Thurman got tons of "exposure" from the debut PBC card. Yet both saw their second fights on PBC drop big time in TV Ratiings. And you say in a year or 2 Spence will develop into a star that can draw numbers. If it keeps on this trend PBC won't be around in a year or 2. Fact each month since PBC launched the ratings have fallen. This is not a blimp on the radar this is called a trend. Casual fans could care less about PBC and PBC has done more to anger hard core boxing fans then it has to satisfy them.

exactly. advertisers see a sinking ship with PBC. they see a fad like the XFL. PBC is not REAL boxing. it's just some sideshow that is a poor imitation of boxing.

if you want real boxing with HEART, SOUL, and QUALITY!!!!!!!! you watch HBO sports.
