You earnt it, good luck on the rest of your life.
But maybe you should have stated when your last fight would be as some of your fans might not have known Groves was your last fight and they didn't get to see you as they thought they might be able to see you further down the line.

Other than that, maybe you will comeback again if you get bored. You will probably still train like you have a fight coming up when you retire because you come across as a man who likes to stay in shape. You'd probably be a personal trainer if you wasn't a pro boxer.

Retiring with Dignity and Respect is great for Froch

While Froch was no Joe Calzaghe, Carl represented himself and all of the UK very well and with class and dignity. Froch did well in his career and gave his all and fought the top names and represented himself and the UK and all of boxing like a gentlemen. Froch went out on his own terms with his name intact and respect around the boxing world. Retiring with dignity is a great option for a fighter. Froch was a winner. Retiring with a beautiful wife and nice kids and a loving family for support and an adoring fan base and having the respect of all England? What a way to go out on Top?

Froch isn't that good... to come back from a 2 year lay off. I don't want to see him fight again to be honest, he's crap.

I don't like the guy, but he was actually very good..only one loss he was beaten comprehensively and Ward has a difficult style..hopefully he'll pursue a less arrogant persona in his post boxing career..

Happy trails. Few million pounds, hot woman, went out on his own terms. Can't ask for more out of life.
