Why Amir Khan ONLY Ducks Kell Brook

The reason Khan ducks Brook is simply because a loss to another British fighter that plenty of people think can beat him would be very damaging amongst the casual fans in the UK. Khan is a big name here, although not that popular but everyone knows who he is. If he lost to Mayweather or another good Welterweight nobody would care that much. But if he fought Brook, the fight would be very hyped, it would have good crossover appeal to the casuals in the UK like Froch v Groves did and if Khan loses that, it's very damaging to his image..

Khan has been ducking the top guys for a while. 140-147 are 2 of the best classes.

Alexander (Porter beat when Khan ducked Alexander)You know Brook might have to fight Alexander as a mandatory kf he beats Chaves right? So brook's win won't mean anything? Khan-Alexander was 50:50 to most.
Collazo (older fighter who lost to Freddy Hernandez)coming off Ortiz win ehere everyone said he was rejuvenated and many said he would KO Khan, also went life and death with Thurman
Julio Diaz (older 135 fighter who got ko'd by Kendell Holt, dropped Khan)coming off a draw with porter where he arguably won
Carlos Molina (not the 154 titlist) was unbeaten and and Khan stopped him, Broner went 12 last year

So in the last 3 years, Khan has fought nothing but soft punching fighters that have no KO power.
He ducked a Garcia rematch and Maidana Rematch. He could fight Porter, Brook, Thurman and Broner to name a few, but instead he has fought average comp. None of the young guns, but a bunch of guys on the downslide.

Can't wait till Khan goes away, he is cancer to boxing. Won't take any risk anymore, he wants to fight Manny and Floyd, what a surprise, 2 guys that have 1 KO in the last 6 years.

The hate is real. He asked for the Garcia fight and and team Garcia turned it down, Khan has said recently he would take that fight in a heartbeat.
