There is a possibility that Alexander Ustinov (31-1, 22 KOs) will face former WBO heavyweight champion Shannon Briggs (58-6-1, 51 KOs) on a date in October in Venezuela, according to the Russian fighter's promoter Vladimir Hryunov.

Ustinov, who this past Saturday night demolished Travis Walker, has been presented with an offer by the World Boxing Association to have a fight as part of a card they are putting together in the fall.

Briggs won't take this fight. He won't fight anyone with a pulse. He is trying to cash out, not fight his way into a title fight.
Never seen Ustinov fight, but he beat Tua, so he has fought the better comp. recently.
