    Chris Algieri at 147

How well do you think Chris can do at 147 after the Khan performance, he has the stature to grow into the division and has a high level of boxing IQ in my opinion.

I think with a good rebuild he can get into title contention and can win against a few top 10 guys. What do you guys think?

He might beat a few of the lower top ten but we have seen the best and worst of him.

He could beat Broner, Guerrero, Malignaggi, Rios at welterweight.

I don't like his chances of beating any of the top 10.

He can probably win a random world title if he gets the right opponent across the ring like virtually any top 15 guy in any division. He's not gonna be the number one guy or win a "super" world title or anything like that. And he's definitely taking a bunch of L's at 147 vs most of if not all of the top 10.

Algeiri vs Peterson would be a decent bout

He'd beat Guerrero and Rios @147. That's about it. A Chaves-Algieri fight would be fun if he fights like he did against Khan.

His size is a huge advantage for him and it balances it out the fact that he doesn't hit hard. Add to that speed, reach and some good combination punching and we have a guy who could beat a great many welterweight. I rate Bradley very highly but the sheer size difference could hand Bradley a loss.

He obviously can't beat May, we've seen what Pac can do to him. I think he has enough speed and athleticism to beat Maidana and Porter. Brook would be a tough task.

True for the last three no doubt. Broner might look like Broner-Malignaggi fight. I imagine it would be competitive.

All of those fights would be great for Algieri right now. Think he could use time to develop against reasonable competition before getting back in with the top dogs of the division.
