Comments Thread For: Frampton Jabs Quigg: Doubts Haymon Would Want Him

CARL FRAMPTON says London is becoming a home from home after millions viewed his successful title defense against Chris Avalos.

The IBF super bantamweight champion is a hero in his home city of Belfast.

But after huge numbers tuned in to ITV to watch his fifth round stoppage of Avalos in May, his popularity on the streets of his London training base has surged.

Scott Quigg is headlining a sold out Manchester Arena this Saturday. Carl Frampton is fighting some random bum in Texas in front of about 50 fans, most of whom will have received tickets for free.

Say you want about Quigg, but at least he wants the fight, i'm not sure Frampton does.

jamie mcdonnel could beat quigg anyway, I think quigg will give up his title and go into hiding untill its safe to cherry pick again. he'll likely injury himself so he can have 20 tune ups . Like crolla tried to do but it backfired, he has to fight perez and he's too small and upright. I hope the paramedics are at the stand by its not going to be pretty.

I dont think quigg or crolla will even get in the ring tbh, gallagher is going to pull some crazy sh.it . quigg and crolla mugged by a gang of 5 year olds, both critically injured and could be facing retirement. gallagher is first on the scene to speak to reporters and get his story out. hur hur.

I agree, i think Frampton is the better fighter and has beaten the better opposition, and would probably beat Quigg. All I'll say is that i don't think we've seen how good Quigg is yet.

Ive been waiting for quigg to fight a live dog, for about 5 years, ive seen all his fights since he was with hatton and never been impressed, he's too stiff, but thinks thats a good thing. crolla's a skinny guy and shouldnt be in with big punchers like perez.
