Never been high on Haye but I suppose he make some noise in the division with his big mouth.

When it comes to actually fighting, I think he beats everyone but Povetkin, Wladomir, Joshua, Fury, and maybe Wilder.

He'd be actively avoiding anyone with a working pulse, just like he did through his bull**** run from 2008-2011.

Great con-artist, though. Guy made a ridiculous amount of money for basically doing **** all.

Haye was a highly overrated HW then and would be even worse now.

Wlad, Fury & Povetkin would destroy him. I'd give him a shout against Bum Squad though.

Back when he was boxing he was only really beatable by the Klitschko's. And by the end of Vitali's career, I don't think he would have really been able to have beaten Haye anymore (but never to be dismissed of course).

NOW, were he to return healthy, I think he still only loses to Klitschko and Povetkin.

The only reason Fury is still unblemished is because of Haye's injuries. Haye would have sparked Fury out with more certainty than almost any fight you could bet on really.

Similarly for Wilder, he doesn't even really belong in the same ring as David Haye, he simply just doesn't have the skillset or the durability and is another show boat knockout for David en route to a title shot again.

It's a bit of a shame he gave it up really. He was basically a HW version of Roy Jones imo.

Would love to see this fight, it could be FOTY for the heavyweight division. Haye at his best would most probably win, in a fight where both would of probably hit the deck. Now however after surgery and years out, its more likely Povetkin wins.

God knows what Hayes waiting around for, hes been saying his shoulder is fine now for months and months.

Anyway to the thread, Haye would of been top 3 best fighter not called Klit. I still think haye has the best chance to beat Wlad out of all the present heavyweights.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone win as many fantasy fights as David Haye. What did he do at HW? Sod all.

If you mean he hadn't gone away, had a lay off and injuries then he would be the no. 2 guy out there. He hits hard, is faster than any other heavyweight out there. The problem is, how many of the top guys would he be fighting? Would there have been a Wlad rematch?
