The UK will have 2 LW belts if Crolla beats Perez next week. I hope he faces Magdaleno or Petrov next.

The rules were pre determined. Injuries like a dislocated shoulder that result in a retirement are considered a loss. Its been the same in all fights (Vitali vs Byrd and Vitali vs Solis for example).

Its annoying and obviously Flanagan acted like a mug celebrating like that, but they arent going to overturn the decision

Personally I feel that Flanagan is no a legit champion.

It's not his fault, but he should offer a rematch first.

I still cant understand why the fight was not ruled a NC.

Flanagan got a gift last night, he needs to earn some respect.

Someone on another forum pointed out that ruling injuries a no contest would be an easy way out for any fighter who is losing and doesnt want to take the loss

Obvious thing to do would be for WBO to order an immediate rematch once Zapeda is ready. Or if Flanagan has lost by then, give him an immediate shot

              Diego Magdaleno on HBO?

                That makes sense to me.

I don't think Flanagan's celebrations and interview earned him many fans after last night.

Shame because it could have been a decent fight without the injury.

What a pathetic situation this was. The man gets hurt in the second round and they rule in favor of Flanagan as if he did something to actually win. Should have truly been a NC and now this guy is acting like he won in some hard-fought war.

No it should have been a Flanagan win as per the rules
