Fights like these are hurting the prospects in PBC, I mean what's the upside if you win you beat someone who didn't have a chance, and if you don't look great doing it doesn't bode well moving forward. And if you somehow lose you are basically done. Haymon needs to step up his matchmaking, bad matchmaking can ruin a fighter.

That is how Spence was presumably going to get to Thurman as it was - precise shots up the middle, in between the wider shots... especially to the body where Spence is highly accurate - if there is one area where Spence is not overhyped it's his accuracy imo. I mean, this fight didn't leave me any less convinced he could do that - probably won't happen but it's interesting fight to make even now, I think Spence should push for it

While I agree with Spence throwing straighter shots he hasn't faced anyone who gives movement to him so he's always been able to plant his feet haven't really seen how he'll deal with a guy who doesn't oblige that luxury

The one question I have about Spence who certainly looks talented is he tends to fight pretty flat footed can he walk guys down effectively who can use the ring
