Magdeburg, Germany - Tom Schwarz (13-0) opened SES, Akhmat Box Promotion and Terek Box Eventīs joint promotion at the Getec Arena with a points win over Konstantin Airich (22-12-2) after eight in an all German matchup. That was a circus act of a ''world heavyweight title fight''. Chagaev needs to man up and fight Big daddy browne or the real king kong Ortiz.

Why is Chagaev fighting Fres Oquendo next? I thought he had a mandatory defense for the WBA regular title that he has to make against Lucas Browne or lose the title? No more voluntary defenses.

Wasn't expecting that quick of a fight. I thought Chagaev would win but I expected it to go the distance. Chagaev was looking flabby at 246 but he came out firing. Not sure where Pianeta goes from here. Unless he decides to be a European journeymen I doubt we see much more of him. He battled illness & now he has been clobbered twice when he stepped up. He could stay busy but his chances of another title shot are done. The rest of the fights went as expected. Oquendo then browne in back to back fights. If he wins both he will have another crack at the WBA champion but he will have to wait until 2016.

Probably off to Alabama for Wilder's next "step up".

He has too, it's technically a mandatory. He has two now back to back.

Chagaev looks very focused, good to have him back in the mix.
