I understand people wanting to fight the best, and i respect that but it annoys me how desperate these guys are for a Mayweather payday.

People like Khan need to focus on their own path, not follow Floyds. If you do your job well, your path might just cross with his. Floyd gets a lot of haters but he's always given a shot to those who deserved it. No matter what you think of Ortiz now, he did win the WBC from an undefeated Berto and got the Mayweather fight. Maidana put himself in the frame because he beat an undefeated Broner who was supposedly the next big thing, Canelo made a name for himself and he was the guy with Pacquiao that they said Floyd would never fight. Mosley went and destroyed Margarito, took his belts and got a Mayweather fight too.

When it comes down to it, they were good deserving opponents when that bell rang in round 1. You can only judge a match on that, not hindsight. So if you earn it, you might get it. The likes of Khan and Mundine have done nothing of note right now to deserve a shot. Khan doesn't even fight real Welterweights or anybody that can punch, he just avoids them. At least a guy like Ortiz and even Guerrero stepped in with Berto, who's still a big strong Welterweight and was still undefeated when Ortiz got in with him, as well as champ.

This guy lives in his own dream world where he is important. 15 months ago Clottey went to Mundine's back yard in Australia and beat him by a one sided points win of 116-108 115-109 and117-108. Clottey should get the fight before the guy he beat the hell out of. Boxrec ranks Mundine 13th at 154. Not only does Mundine not remotely deserve a fight with Mayweather but he is almost an unknown fighter. Only serious boxing fans ever heard of the guy. Khan is well known and would bring in tons more money than Mundine. Keep dreaming the impossible dream Mundine, until Mayweather announces his next opponent. It won't be you.
