I voted a draw. I love them both. They are both great and I don't want them to lose. If I was forced to pick one I'd pick Lomo because he is bigger and younger and 126 would help him beat the smaller man. Still it's a pick um fight between two 10th degree black belt boxers who can also punch.Comment

Got to ride with Rigo on this. As a certified board member of The Rigotards, it would look unbecoming of me not to do so.
That being said, I think Loma is a brilliant fighter, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he came out victorious.
We all win if the fight gets made.Comment

a) Salido was never deducted against for the 100+ low blows he threw
b) Came in overweight, 2.5 pounds over the limit. Fight night he weighed 147 vs Lomachenko's 136.
c) Actually landed less punches than Lomachenko did (although this is just a stat and doesn't detail the fight)
d) It was his second professional fight ever. Professional boxing != Amateurs. That was a fantastic showcase by Lomachenko regardless.
e) Although I love Texas, because I am a native Houstonian, boxing here is corrupt.
You try to underhype Salido. He is a good boxer, although a cheater. He beat Robert Guerroro and got caught using steroids afterwards. He fought against Lomachenko dirty, he came in overweight on purpose... etc. He's not bad at all. Definitely not the level of competition you would expect for any new professional fighter in their second fight.
I had Lomachenko winning by 1 round. This doesn't include the fact that Salido should have been deducted several times for all those low blows (which shouldn't even have counted anyways). Not to mention, had that fight gone on longer Lomachenko would have KO'd him. Salido was looking lost that final round.Last edited by UNBIASED BOXING; 07-11-2015, 12:35 AM.Comment

Literally the only reason , Loma made a close sd fight that Salido got the nod on was because of inactivity in rounds. There's no one that could show me any continues clean hits on Loma, besides body shots that a lot were low blows or not clean. To bad he didn't finish him off the last round when he hurt him.Comment
