Rigo has the reach/slight speed advantage over Loma...but Loma has the power advantage... they both have incredible footwork... neither fighter does anything wrong... Both have incredible defense too...

Loma called out Rigo first though... So let's see if he really intends to follow through...

I'm so curious how each fighter will be able to get to the other... It will be a real battle for points... Neither fighter likes to go to close decisions...

Imagine this scenario... Rigo is up on points in the latter rounds and Loma's only chance for victory is a KO... He's got the power to do the job but can he get in there... if anyone has the skills to pull it off it's another two-time gold olympian...

Another less important question...who would you prefer call this fight as the boxing expert... Roy Jones Jr or Andre Ward?
I'm not so sure about the power thing, Rigondeuax has hurt each and everyone he fought, and you can see every time he lands, opponents became gun-shy, I think the Cuban is a sniper...

    • Rigondeaux is too small

      • Rigo may be too small but that also may work in his advantage!!! A lot of bigger guys have done big things against the larger opponent. I see Rigo winning by late TKO or Corner Stoppage.

Because they are easier title defenses?

There is no gain in fighting a dangerous fighter when he is not a mandatory and has nothing to offer.

I think Loma learned from the Salido fight that in the pro game you have to watch out and pick your fights. He didn't have to fight Salido and no one would have said **** to him if he refused to fight him after Salido missed weight. But he did and now "Well Loma lost to Salido" blah blah blah

And once again where did Walters say that he will fight Loma at 126?
