Think about it. The math isnt hard. The writing is on the wall.
I agree. But I'm not even sure it's a case of Loma being scared of the weight advantage or Arum trying to drag out this big HBO fight for as long as he can.

One this is for sure, as big of a Loma fan as I am... if he doesn't fight Rigo after dodging Walters and goes on to fight some cherry pick (who doesn't even have a title) there's no way I can defend him anymore... But like I said, let's see how it plays out...If loma will follow through on his calling out of Rigo...

I really hope Loma doesn't go the dark side (where you drag out big fights for years and years while you pick up fat checks fighting nobodies).

Boxrec is very screwy a times lol. Last we heard from him he said he was gonna make a decision in 2 weeks time but hasnt said anything else yet. But let's just say, for the sake of arguing, that Walters does move up. Why is it ok for Loma to ask Rigo to move up but he cant move up for Walters? More money in that fight than vs Rigo.

For sure. Right now his only option for a title is Cuellar and Selby but no one seems to think Selby will fight him. So if he doesnt fight Cuellar and fights someone else without a title other than Walters... the truth will come to light.

so loma doesn't want to fight walters because walters is too big for 126 and won't move to 130 to fight him either, but wants rigo to move up to 126 to fight him, interesting.

Arum isn't some godfather... Loma just needs to put his foot down, and not be swayed by any of Arum's sweet talk ("oh just take this less than stellar fight now and I promise we'll get you the big money fight later" etc etc)...

Which makes one wonder: How much pull does a fighter have regarding their choice of opponent when they sign to a promoter, specifically Top Rank?
              Anyone know?

                I like you.

More people need to see things this way.

Unless you're Canelo status then Id say not much imo.

The fight was supposed to happen if Walters still had a belt and could make 126, blame Walters if you want to blame somebody.

I don't think so. Lomachenko's style is technically pretty clean, he doesn't come across as being overly showy to me.
