Stop with the "bhop gonna school him" talk . I know it's coming
It's usually you driving that bandwagon

I do question his sanity if he's serious about fighting Golovkin.

He went 12 with the Krusher, albeit in life preservation mode. He may be able to handle GGG's power a little better than Kovalevs. Surely he doesn't punch as hard as Kovalev. BHop is crafty, could be a good fight. I remember many thinking he would beat Kovalev, but none seem to think he would beat the smaller Genady. I guess his last outing lowered everyone's expectations a bit.

Hey, why not. If at 168, it's the next best thing to Ward. Depending on how Golovkin does (I still think he's too small to be a SMW), maybe then the Ward fight can finally happen.

Kovalev-Ward needs to be happen much more than Golovkin-Ward. Why people (or even Golovkin himself) keep demanding the latter, which sounds like a total mismatch, I don't know...

ODLH n BHop have no problem fighting GGG but they are in no hurry to put Lemieux or Canelo in there with GGG
Talk about falling on the sword lol

I really thought this fight was going to happen last May instead of Monroe. It's just as much an execution as would be the Lara fight, just a curiosity on how Golovkin takes him down.

Of course Hopkins has played Lazarus numerous times in his career. After losing to Taylor because he was too old at 160, he moved up to 175 to face Tarver when everybody thought he would be killed and put on a masterpiece. Then he loses to Calzaghe, nearly stopped at one point, and then fights Pavlik in what was supposed to be a showcase fight for Pavlik and Bernard puts on another masterpiece. Loses to Dawson and comes back and puts on a clinic vs Cloud. But at 50 and vs a unique talent in Golovkin, I see that trend ending.

And you know this how? Do you have an insider feeding you information on how much is being offered and to whom?

Nope, not at all. It just shows that he would consider it if the conditions were right. But by the time this thread is done, people will be claiming that GGG is ducking Hopkins, others that Hopkins is ducking GGG and yet others that they are both ducking Ward.

IF this fight was to happen and Golovkin was to KO Hopkins, Ward would never fight GGG, neither would Chavez or Froch or Cotto - well Cotto never will anyways, etc... and GGG will have an even tougher time trying to get anyone in the ring with him in the future.
