Relax: Hopkins actually said that he "would have taken" such a fight, he didn't actually said that he "will take" it...

Question: Andre Ward said he'll fight you.

        GGG: 164 or no fight.
I don't think that was ever said, they're still at the negotiating stage.

I believe he'd take it provided the money is right. Hopkins wanted Golovkin before he fought Kovalev, he never really wanted Kovalev.

Yes. But if you read the article here, you'll see that Hopkins doesn't actually says he is ready to fight GGG next...

Unbelievable, seriously. A 50 year old man exposing Ward, Froch, Mayweather, Cotto, Canelo for the cowards that they are. Seriously, it is ****ing embarrassing. HUGE PROPS TO Hopkins for real. And **** the previously mentioned low life coward sacks of ****.
I rarely agree with your comments but you are spot on with this one!

I saw this coming a million miles away......was just waiting for it. Hops don't need to lose to a 3rd white boy at this age.

BHop is crafty, could be a good fight. I remember many thinking he would beat Kovalev, but none seem to think he would beat the smaller Genady. I guess his last outing lowered everyone's expectations a bit.
The rumor is that GGG owned Kova in sparring when they were training partners.

How true that is, I don't know and after all, it's only sparring. It really don't mean sh@t unless your in Mike Tyson's camp.

Well it seems that Hopkins is fine with the fight but he wants it to happen at 175. Yeah... right.

                      ÊXACTLY this^^^^^^^^^^^

BHop ALWAYS up to something crazy....one thing is for sure though, NEVER count him out!!...BHop feasted on fighters with GGG's attributes and style throughout the years....even well into his 40's he was beating dudes like GGG in the head with boxing books...giving out 36 minutes worth boxing knowledge to young strong heavy handed UNDEFEATED knockout artist

I don't see the same teacher vs student fight these days when watching BHop fight...those days are gone...now it's like old man vs hungry lion....BHop gotta avoid getting cornered and eaten alive for 36 minutes.....time for the OG to walk off with a soft touch...he don't need to be taking on the killers in the sport anymore....but I guess you can't change certain things....and BHop is one of those cats thats stuck in his ways....ALWAYS looking for the toughest fight or fighter in or around his weight class....ALWAYS trying to defy the odds....rarely the favorite but finds a way to bag a UPSET most of the time....I think BHop should just leave GGG for Ward....they're closer in age and BOTH are in their prime...let the generation NOW dudes fight each other....BHop trying to stick his hand in the NOW era's cookie jar and take one last "0" with him to the HOF
