I'm aware of wars breaking a fighter down, I just choose not to roll with that excuse, because Manny could have fought Floyd in 2009 instead of letting his team bicker about testing. There's also the fact that Manny just doesn't look good against guys that move. In any case, they were both obviously out of their primes, and Floyd beat him rather easily.
As far as resumes, To say Floyd's isn't better would cause me to borrow your "I can lead you to water" line (You can Boxrec their resumes; Floyd's is clearly better). Alas, I don't want to turn this into a Floyd/Manny argument in a Ward-Kovalev discussion (probably too late lmao), so I'll just say to each his own.
i don't need to boxrec their resumes
you seem to think that floyd and manny are similarly deteriorated, which is all i need to know abotu your understanding of boxing or your bias.Comment

compare pacquaio in the bradley rematch with mayweather in the maidana rematch. yes, mayweather won easier the second time, but that's because he adjusted his tactics into 'old man mode', which he maintained in the pacquiao fight (hence it was so boring and not a masterclass like mayweather-marquez or mayweather-canelo). pacquiao however clearly retained his hand speed, foot speed and power, but just became cagier because he was afraid of being KOed again. i think you need to go back and actually compare and contrast their latter performancesComment

Still p*ssed above Kovalev-Stevenson not happening. Two big punchers, unify all the belts for 175 supremacy it was bound to be a great fight for boxing.
This is a decent alternative though.Comment

Way to put words in my mouth. Show me where I said that they were both similarly deteriorated, and then you can resume calling me biased, which if you've seen me post here, you know I'm clearly not :/Comment
