Not into this fight as much as other people are I must say...feels like a Bronze medal fight...
I'd be more interested in seeing one of them fight Triple G than this fight... I understand this fight is big because of the fan boys out there...but how can anyone act like this is the most important fight in boxing right now?
Ward v. Kovalev at 175 = more important..would determine the best LightHeavy
Triple G. vs. Floyd at 154 = unstoppable force in his prime against the defensive wizard.. would be like Pac fight 5-6 years ago as far as risk for Floyd...

That Cotto-Canelo fight is a silver medal fight. It's the best battle of the losers..

this fight is Bronze...not that I'm not into this fight...but if the winner doesn't fight Triple G it makes the fight kind ehh OK..so it doesn't determine 160 lb supremacy..nor 154...so it's what the best 155 Lber in boxing?
It's still definitely a top 6-7 fight for sure as far as having my interest...

What's with this new age of scoring boxing for a guy running and doing nothing on offense and making it a low-out put fight? Is that the way boxing fights should be scored? That's not Ring Generalship..that's running..
Here's the difference...
De la Hoya vs Trinidad...rounds 1-7 Boxing
De La Hoya vs Trinidad rounds 8-12 running
Pacquiao vs De La Hoya...boxing...
Pacquiao vs. Rios....boxing...
Floyd v. Pacquiao/De La Hoya....running
Floyd v. Corrales, Castillo, Hatton..and other boxing..

If I'm managing Triple G...I know Triple G will beat Lara easily...Lara will run or get KO'd so obviously Lara is going to run..why would I risk getting a scoring decision fighting a guy who brings nothing to the table but stinking up the joint and running the whole fight looking for a gift decision and then crying about it when he doesn't get it

Hope its the 21st as I already took that time off work and used some of my perks to book a room on the strip. If they announce the fight on that day I will be there. The next weekend is the Saturday after Thanksgiving and no way will I be able to leave town that day.
Canelo by KO in the 9th.

What happened to Cotto strong arming and the fight happening in NYC doe?
At this rate I'm expecting it to be billed as "Canelo-Cotto"...which should be the case as Alvarez is a bigger star/sells more tickets/gets more views.
