Wilder took shots from Stiverne and Molina without getting seriously hurt at all. Both have power. Povetkin was hurt by Marco Huck for god's sake. Wlad floored him with a jab lol.

Molina is just a bigger guy than Povetkin. Couple inches taller, 4" more in reach. That fight tells us nothing about how Wilder would fight Povetkin
What are you trying to say with that? Huck punches like a freight train.

Do you mean that short left hook he caught him with early in the fight?

Set it up Briggs vs Arreola that would be a good fight to see if Briggs still have it

Isn't crazy sounding and definitely isn't a sideshow. Wilder is just being extra careful since he knows his days are numbered. Briggs would more than likely put his lights out... as would Jennings, Fury, obviously Wlad, Povetkin. The guy really has nowhere to run except to go with marginal contenders like Arreola. I'd luv to see Wilder/Briggs.

Think the Molina fight had more to do with testing Wilder's right hand more than anything else. Let's not pretend that Wilder didn't break his hand against Stirvene and had to undergo an operation afterwards. It was his first fight back and you don't want to find out that your greatest weapon is still MIA against a top opponent.

Wilder hesitated to use that right hand up until Molina stunned him,fig he was using stiff jabs, body jabs, and left hooks the whole time prior to that. And even after wards he was still gun shy about that right hand tho he did throw it a bit more after that moment.

It's wise for Wilder not to fight Povetkin or any top ten fighter until he gets another chance to test that hand. But after that, if the hand is fine, then he has to fight Povetkin, and I think he will.

Wilder will know exactly how his hand is after a round of sparring. This is the best excuse I've heard given for Wilder fighting a constant stream of bums for a while.

You're comparing a sparring match to a prize fight? You must be out of your mind.

Besides, we don't need to argue over nothing, Wilder WILL fight Povetkin, we all know that, I'll be waiting for YOUR excuse when Wilder knocks him out or produces another shutout like he did to Stirvene.

I'm saying that you don't need to have a boxing fight to see how an injury is. These guys will be doing 12 rounds in the gym and will know if they have an injured hand or not.

FYI, i don't think for a second that Wilder is scared of Povetkin or anyone else, it's his team who don't have any faith in him. I think Wilder would fight anyone, but he has no say, only Al Haymon does. He should be able to beat Povetkin, he's by far the bigger man.

Here are 2 facts that everybody knows is true but fan boys will find really tough to swallow...

Fact #1.. Shannon Briggs and Deontay Wilder is a pick em fight!

Fact #2.. If Wilder DID fight Briggs, then Shannon Briggs would be the best opponent that he has ever faced!
