Money wise yes but credit wise he will get none (rightfully so) and I think the risk involved isn't worth it.

So, is a win against Berto and Mayfield going to give Mayweather more credit? GGG is going to give Floyd the most credit. But only if it's at 160. At 154, GGG is drained. So, that fight should not happen. The biggest threat to Floyd right now is Khan.

Most boxing insiders agree that Khan is the biggest threat (stylistically) to Mayweather. So, if Mayweather beats Khan, most boxing insiders will give Floyd credit.

It's a high risk, high reward fight for Floyd.

For Khan as well.

He's nearing 40 and from the sounds of it, can't wait to retire. Even if he goes for #50 (I'm not convinced he will), he's definitely not delaying #49. He'll fight in September for sure.

He will defintely fight in September. I can't believe there are people doubting it, it's so abundantly clear.

Will he fight #50? Possibly but I doubt it.

I agree. That's why I wouldn't be that surprised if he fought on PBC. It would be a great promotion for the program.
