tbf he got the Mayweather payday twice. I'd be the size of a house with that money to spend to beer and pizza.

I like Maidana but I think his proper fighting weight is still 140 pounds. He looks fleshy and a little fat in the ring in his fights at 147. Maidana only knows one way to fight and that is straight ahead going to war. I doubt he would last even one round against GGG no matter how fat he was.

How can you not like Maidana?

How he managed to fight Maidana twice...who knows lol.

He deserved it more than Guerrero & Ortiz atleast...

Problem with many boxers is discipline.

I guess Robert Garcia was right when he said Maidana doesn't like to box, he just does it because he is good at it

Man, he's looking chubby. Maybe he will take a fight a 154 before moving back down.

I'd like to see him start getting back active, there's some good fights at 147 involving him.

He'd be a good fighter to bet against if he steps in with a top opponent without a tune up.

Just imagine years from now: What happened to the two men that arguably beat Mayweather?

One fought late in his 40's and passed away from injuries sustained in a fight.
The other ballooned up to the size of a house, could never lose the weight, and died of CAD.

                      That'd be something else..
