This makes me a little sad, he could have so many entertaining fights at 147. Bradley, Porter, Garcia, Rios, Matthysse, Provodnikov to name a few.. Now he might return as chavez jr jr at 154 and gas out and be knocked out by some real big guy... he should fight margarito at 160 or something...

This is recent, probably the heaviest Maidana has ever been. This reminds me of that picture of fat Chavez Jr stuffing his face with tacos at some restaurant.

I saw an Elie Seckback video where Robert Garcia was saying that Maidana is training to lose weight too.. He's let himself go after his marriage.

There are far more interesting matches at 154-160 him......

If anyone thought a Chino thought fought on 2 PPV's and gave Mayweather 2 of his toughest fights would campaign on regular tv vs lowly fighters like Thurman, Porter and Brook then they were mistaken. He has tasted that PPV money he's waiting in the wings for a Cotto or Canelo match, he'll sit on the sidelines until that becomes available
