Comments Thread For: Lamont Peterson To Return in September, 147 Possible

After his disputed majority decision loss to Danny Garcia in mid-April, former IBF junior welterweight belt-holder Lamont Peterson is now looking ahead to his next fight. And it looks like it will come after the summer months.

"We're supposedly going in September anywhere between the 4th and the 12th. So we're working on that now,'' said Barry Hunter, the trainer/manager of Peterson, who is affiliated with Al Haymon and the PBC.

Porter would be a good fight for him,I think Thurman would probably stop him.

I think he is just fine at 140, although most of the fights for him are at 147 really.

Peterson-Guerrero would be real good for him and of course Broner. Thurman and Porter after he establishes himself.

He'll probably be scheduled to fight Roberto Garcia, but Garcia will pull out last minute. So it will end up being Leonard Bundu.
