Guys, guys. Loeffler is just trying to distract us from Lara's callout from today. He's just spitting out nonsense to avoid the Lara issues when he announces Jorge Sebastian Heiland for Golovkin soon. Don't fall for it.

Anyone with a problem with this obviously feels Ward has no chance against Golovkin. The only way I would have a problem with a catchweight personally is if Ward only fights Kovalev at a catchweight and doesn't fully move up. He said he would move up to 175 and talked a lot of crap. But now he doesn't want it. Hmmmmmmm
Ward's next fight will be a catchweight, but it won't be in September and it won't be vs GGG

GGG's team: well fight anyone 154-168... he didn't say 154-168(for JCCjr & Froch only, ward is 164)

Chavez Jr poses no threat. There is a strong possiblity that Ward, the MUCH bigger man will hold him and headbutt all night.

Wait, "risk" only applies to certain fighters?

GGG is being smart. I love how when it comes to certain fighters that fit other peoples agendas, its all about "the money," "being smart," but GGG is some superhuman robot who's supposed to do risk his life against a dirty fighter?

Easy work GGG. Plain and simple. Sign the contract or stop talking crap. Ward don't want it, end of story.

I think on this issue it was a ******ed statement by Tom and I doubt that is a request from GGG (being that he's stated he opposes catchweights). But even if Golovkin really wants a CW Tom shouldn't have said it. You don't say that kind of stuff unless it's really necessary and they are advanced in negotiating already, otherwise you just open yourself up for unnecessary criticism, like he just did here.

If I'm Golovkin I give Leoffler/K2 about 6 months to get him a big fight and if they don't deliver I'd seriously consider shopping around (no idea what his contract is with K2 though).
And you tried to make out that my disdain for Team Golovkin was all about Froch.

They have been calling out Froch for a while and I never cared. That's what they're supposed to do. People are supposed to call out the cash cow.

I even supported GGG fighting Rubio (despite the fact that he's a bum) because it was a WBC Eliminator.

But I clocked them when they made the awful Willie Jr fight. That showed me they are absolutely full of **** and this only further proves it.

The whole of his team can't seem to get on the page. I expect more damage control now.

At this stage how can anybody believe anything that comes out of the GGG camp when they are retracting statements left and right.
Certainly makes it more believable that they tried to drain Froch.

If everyone insists on him fighting Ward now, fine but why should he be expected to move up 8 lbs just because he can punch there. I think he'd win a close fight anyway but my point is this, GGG is a middleweight, let him silence the haters and crush the mws who wont fight him. If only supermiddlewieghts will then fine move up. I've never seen so many haters for no good reason. Guys are afraid to fight him and you turn that into he only wants to fight tomato cans. He's no Chavez jr.
Because they have stated numerous times anyone from 154-168. not 164
