Comments Thread For: Quigg: Not My Fault, Carl Frampton Rejected 60-40 Deal

Scott Quigg has dismissed Carl Frampton's accusation that he is the reason their fight has not happened and believes his rival is trying to shift the blame.

Frampton, the IBF super-bantamweight world champion, has labelled the Bury fighter the "ultimate" obstacle to a proposed all-British unification fight.

The Northern Irishman also said Quigg "just over-valued himself" when it came to the initial negotiations and believes he himself is worth more than the original 60-40 split Matchroom offered.

Hearn said Quigg rejected a 60-40 split for Frampton. Only thing Quigg has going for him is that he has sky PPV. He doesn't have a world title, fan base or the profile that Frampton has

They wanted to give Frampton a flat rate of £1.5million and Matchroom would keep the PPV revenue

        Or 60/40 to the winner

They never offered Frampton the bigger split outright which is what he deserves.

hearns becoming a toss pot, he's wasted the budget on smiths testimonials, quit screwing around and put some decent matchups on its not a charity. And no i dont want to see quigg fight he's got no skills.

I have kiko to beat quigg anyway. What is quigg going to do though run or stand, does he even have the chin? I dont think so......and he doesnt look that strong either his muscles look strange, he has stringy muscles, his biceps check out the gap between the bicep and his elbow = small scrawny. Ive got bigger arms than him and all i do is shadow box and push ups and im not paid to be a gym rat.

I have to watch more of Quigg, I saw one of his fights a while back and wasn't really impressed.

              Any fights I should watch?

Quigg/Hearn offered 60/40 to the winner, not to Frampton; there's a difference. Frampton deserves the bigger slice of the pie going in as he has the better resume, more fans, and is a legit world champion. Simple.

quigg is likely the only name at 122 that santa cruz would have beat...thats all i'm saying..make your own assumptions about the rest..matter of fact dont assume just listen when i tell u that frampton would end his career earlier than need be..and im tired of all these lying boxers and their purse split talks

Quigg and Eddie are doing nothing but trying to spin stories to blame the other side.

Frampton is the FAR bigger draw, Frampton has a real belt and Frampton is the much better fighter.

Its not a difficult deal to make: 60/40 Frampton and its done. The reason they haven't made that offer is because they know Frampton beats his ass.
