I know about Thurman's amateur background better than anyone on this forum. He lost to Andrade in the FINALS of the Olympic trial, so once again you're showing your lack of knowledge.

Thurman also beat Andrade in the amateurs when they first met, then Andrade beat him on points the next 3 times. Thurman has beaten and lost to Hatley on points.

      Don't embarrass yourself any further.

He has a lot of vulnerabilities and because of his lack of dedication to the sport and discipline has to fight in weight class that has him undersized against most opponents. Everybody wants a pice of that ass. Not to mention, he's annoying as hell so people just wanna smash his face in. In the case of Thurman, where is the ***** in his armor? He's been down and hurt and he has adapted to every style put in front of him. And he's done it mostly in style. He's not on floyds radar because any fighter good enough and in their prime never is. Other fighters need to step up. I believe a fighter like Shawn P would. I'm expecting that to come to fruition.
That might have been the case 2 years ago when Paulie said he didn't have a name but that is not the case now. He's on network TV and his opponent will get paid handsomely. There are no excuses for opponents like Collazo from this point forward.

So tiliheels are you gonna post these 'official' amateur scorecards or were you lying about that as well?

lol is this aimed at me? I've said nothing bad about Floyd on this thread, but being a paranoid, insecure fanboy, you assume people are targeting your idol.

No it wasn't aimed at you...but a lot of people mention Thurman's name which is no different than when GGG's name is mentioned.

However, I still cannot get over the fact that Thurman is facing somebody that is barely in the top 40 at welterweight. That is crazy.

So he was shocked when he was presented with only one name. Why didn't the media ask him how many he was presented previously? Who were those other names? Why can't this guy just admit Haymon decides for him? And it really doesn't matter whether he's presented with 10 names.

I thought a couple years ago that he was just a puncher with fast hands so seeing that fight, actually jmpressed me. Bundu is a good tech boxer and he was being outboxed by a Thurman who people try to downplay as just a crude ****er. Floyd threatens to take his opponents head off every fight and all you ever see from him is defence and movement with the occasional potshot and people pay money for it but don't think Thurman is worthy. The ignorance is pretty impressive. Thurman is one of the guys out there who can beat floyd if he is able to execute his plan because of his hand speed, athleticism, good movement, boxing skills and of course his power. Not to mention the guy is clearly a student of the game. Anybody with half a brain who has heard his breakdowns of fighters and styles can see that.
                      you make good points
