I've watched this fight over and over, and I keep scoring it to Byrd by a wide margin. If you watch it in slow motion (I know, judges don't have that luxury), Byrd absolutely owns him in this fight, landing three times as many clean, effective punches. Golota gets credit for hitting the arms and the back of the head. Honest to God, the most rounds I found myself able to give Golota was 4, and two of them were VERY close. I think Byrd got screwed in this fight to be honest. I also don't know why his right eye puffed up so much because Golota never really gets him with any left hooks.
Anybody know Harold Lederman's scorecard for Byrd-Golota?

The guys scoring it that I was watching (the ones from FSN), had it to Golota like 116-112 which is RIDICULOUS. How did you guys score it and how did Lederman score it? -
it was kind of like floyd castillo in the first fight...except in that one the judges got it right. i also think byrd's dreads had something to do with it too...Originally posted by DiegoFuegoI've watched this fight over and over, and I keep scoring it to Byrd by a wide margin. if you score all the times Byrd touched the canvas with his gloves after getting punched, I'd probably have a drawComment

but if you take points for every time Golota hit after the bell (3 total), Byrd jumps ahead againComment

I don't know, when I was watching it live it looked really close to me, but Golota seemed to control the tempo for most of the fight it looked like. Byrd with his pillow punches, comn. I don't know Golota is way past his prime and a nut case, but I did want to see Golota vs Wlad, that would be a funny match.Comment

i dont see how a guy who has the mental toughness of the fat idiot defensive lineman from your JV football team that would false start three times a game and sit out every other practice with an injury that didnt exist ever made it to the top of the world in sporting endeavor.Comment
