Super lightweight contender Mauricio Herrera had a tough 2015, going 1-2 for the year. He defeated Johan Perez by majority decision to win the interim WBA super lightweight title but also lost disputed decisions to Danny Garcia and Jose Benavides sandwiched around that victory.

Many people thought that Herrera did more than enough to have also won those two fights and you can count Golden Boy stakeholder Bernard Hopkins among those who feel Herrera should have had a perfect 3-0 2014 campaign.

I agreed with the judges. 8-4, Danny.

Had him beating Peterson 6-5-1 (might have been 7-5)

Apparently he may have not deserved the fight against Theopane. Can't confirm since I haven't seen it

I remember when Garcia Herrera fight was made I thought it was a **** fight Garcia was going to easily beat Herrera.It was a close fight I had Herrera winning 7-5
