    Scenarios not at all comparable.
Oh so Floyd can tell HBO to release GGG from his exclusive deal and have him fight on Showtime PPV?

    Are you sure about that?

I agree, Haymon has indeed brought boxing to the mainstream media which is bringing him some success and also great for boxing. However, ratings for PBC have been slowly declining and this due in part that there is too much boxing. Boxingscene wrote in article about it the other day when lemmiux/Ward/Broner all fought on the same night. This boxing divide is what is hurting boxing. But I agree, in an ideal world PBC should be used as a vehicle to showcase the talent of fighters from both media stations HBO and Showtime. Once they get that exposure, then put them back on premium cable and that is when their stock will rise. HBO needs to move forward and progress and make amends with Hyamon because hate it or love it Haymon is doing something good for the sport. The only thing I do not like about Haymon is the some of the matchmaking that has taken plave; too one sided in my opinion. He needs to be putting more competitive fights on; Malinaggig/Garcia and Thurman/Collazo are not going to cut it for me. For boxing to flourish the best need to fight the best. I hate to say it but why do you think UFC is intriguing to the young population? Dana White makes it so the the champion fights the number one contender in that weight class and mandatory. If Hyamon were to do that, then boxing will start bringing more of the young population in.

What needs to happen is for GGG's promoter to convince HBO that Lara as an opponent would be beneficial for GGG's career, then they get clearance from Haymon to let Lara fight on HBO and there you have it. It aint about viewership, cause GGG is the draw, he has never fought an opponent worth **** so no matter who he fights people tune in to see him. Its really that simple.

Case in point, HBO say they are ready and willing to pay Stevenson his worth form him to come over and fight Kovalev. Even if he is with Haymon.
        lol "excuses" Fuuuuk outta here
Reasons the fight won't happen are "excuses"? You live in a fantasy world. Stay mad at **** that can't happen.

Lara's team finds out if Haymon will let Lara fight on HBO and make a phone call letting the right people on K2/HBO's side know what's going on and the fight can happen. They won't do that though because Lara is just talking.

They've said since GGG's last fight that he plans to fight 2 more times this year and will be back in Sept.
Now Lara says he wants to fight in Oct. lol Wake up

a purse of 2 million for GGG is easy money for haymon and 1.4 or so for lara is as well

Kinda funny that a lot of the same people that have been saying that Golovkin was a coward for wanting to fight Canelo, are saying that he's a coward for not fighting a guy who Canelo beat. Stay salty.

              No one is mad.

No one cares if Lara fights GGG or not.

Saying the fight can happen is just telling the truth. Talking about a one month difference between two guys who want to fight each other is also laughable. There is no difference between GGG getting another fight late in 2015 or early 2016, IF Lara was an opportunity he really wanted.

YOU can certainly hide behind your pathetic excuses though if it makes you feel better about GGG's comp.

It can happen if Lara can fight on HBO. No one knows if he can or not.
He hasn't fought on HBO since 2012 and that was only because of a purse bid Top Rank won.
Lara has to actually WANT the fight. He doesn't. He knows it won't happen, that's why he's talking about it.
You PBC ****ers are some of the dumbest people on the internet

Who wants to watch this man do the Cuban Chicken Dance for 12 rounds? Certainly not me! Personally, I am glad there are promotional issues for this one. I would like to see him fight Thurman though...the amount of running would be epic!

Lara is not Team GGG's priority. Unifying the 160 division and fighting the big name guys between 154-168 is.

If the Golovkin vs Froch fight doesn't happen and Golovkin can't get one of the other 160 belt holders in the ring, then that's when a fight against guys like Lara and Degale become more viable.

I think Golovkin vs Lara is possible regardless of the networks involved.

If Lara really wanted to fight Golovkin all he would have to say is that he is ready and willing to fight Golovkin next. Instead he's talking about October and Miami while Team GGG is targeting a September date.

I think he knows that fighting Golovkin would mean that he would have to take a massive paycut for a fight he most likely loses on a network not headed by his boss.

Lara is just using Golovkins name to stay relevant. He is getting paid 1mil to fight the Rodriguez's of the world. He's going to stay as far away as he can from an actual fight against GGG.
