Dirk, you're abviously ashamed of Frochs chicken antics which hurts his well deserved legacy. Don't you agree that for GGG team Froch fight is more dangerous? And more lucrative.

Is that really that simple? I guess that Ward did the same - came to HBO and said - Thant's who I want (Smith). We all know the rest of the story.

What needs to happen is for GGG's promoter to convince HBO that Lara as an opponent would be beneficial for GGG's career, then they get clearance from Haymon to let Lara fight on HBO and there you have it. It aint about viewership, cause GGG is the draw, he has never fought an opponent worth **** so no matter who he fights people tune in to see him. Its really that simple.

Case in point, HBO say they are ready and willing to pay Stevenson his worth form him to come over and fight Kovalev. Even if he is with Haymon.
I see it a bit different. IMHO, Even if HBO lets GGG fight on PBC than I'm not entirely sure that Haymon really is willing to pay for such fight. He understands that his fighter is very likely to get stopped. Why would he invest money to promote HBO's fighter that is not going to fight on PBC after? To do what HBO did for him - promote fighters into stars and when they become stars to see them forget HBO and fight on competing channel?

Aftikan? I wish I see you tell it in his (Lara's) face. He's Cuban. Cuba is not Afrika nor it is Africa.

What does he honestly have to offer Lara instead? Julian Williams isn't ready just yet, Charlo Brothers are training partners with him, etc; look down the list and the high-profile options for Lara are kind of limited.

Say what you want, $750k (Geale got $600k for his fight, Lara is a bigger name/better fighter, and Golovkin's rights budget has gone up so I wanted to put a conservative number out there) for a winnable fight (Rosado, Adama, Geale, and Monroe, all in spots, showed that there are obvious tactics that kind find success against Golovkin) isn't all that bad of a deal for Lara, arguably better than anything that Haymon can get for him within the PBC universe.

You add that the WBA, in all likelihood, won't be as quick to strip a title as some other organizations (leaving Lara with options at 154, almost regardless of the result), and I don't see the downside.

Imagine that Lara actually gets the win, and the gamble pays off.

Exactly why this clown got balls calling out a fight that will never happen.
Too bad nobody around calls out his bs. They just absorb whatever crap he says.
