    Success clearly bothers you.

There are plenty of potential dance partners out there for GGG. He just wants to get a payday. Hopkins is a big name - why doesn't GGG try to fight him?
You think repeating something makes it true? As I stated - I am for my own success (you've got me repeating myself now) and I'm all for seeing others succeed. BUT ... crowing about your own success is, in my eyes at least, hugely distasteful. I don't like the way Mayweather flaunts his wealth, if that picture of Froch and his wife was posted by him on Instagram or equivalent then so be it. You posting his "successful" picture is, in my opinion, pathetic. That said, the world is made up of all kinds of people so if you want to worship at the feet of your idol then all power to you and I guess I'll just have to get used to the photo.
As an aside, we are all free to worship who we like but, me? ... it wouldn't be anyone with an ego like Froch's - I like a bit of humility alongside the achievements.

Come on Barcham, don't fall into that trap. I'm a great GGG fan, what's not to like. But we can't be worrying about whether he loses, not if you are a GGG fan anyway - leave the worrying to his promoter. Also Golovkin and his team are not in a position to worry about risk as otherwise he will never get a legacy going. I reckon GGG has 2 more years and maybe only 18 months of prime left. So, given the paucity of name fighters with talent willing to step up then he needs to accept whatever comes at this time.

It's a dilemna for GGG as all the signs are he will be just as avoided at 168 as he is at 160 given Froch's stance.

No fighter can duck any other fighter from another division. Froch is not ducking GGG, neither is Ward or Mayweather or anyone other than Miguel Cotto.

I didn't read the article but I hope it's Stevenson.

Froch's stance for the past year or so has been to tell Golovkin's team to get HBO to put the fight on PPV.

Surely beating one of the most recognised names in the sport in Hopkins would help GGG propel towards that.

Stop it..Golovkin would annihilate Hopkins even north of 170...because Hopkins is 50 years old and Golovkin is a savage in his prime...and I love Hopkins.

I do not believe that GGG should take any fight outside 160 unless it is a significant PPV event until he has decided to move up permanently. If he does that one time, then there are no reasons not to fight anyone at 168 and he may as well move up and forget his goal of unification at 160. It is only a certain group of fans who want him to move up because they want to see him lose.

I don't care if he loses a fight against a qualified MIDDLEWEIGHT CONTENDER. I see no point in risking his record against someone from another division unless the payday is worth it. He is a great middleweight, the best in the world today in my opinion, and that is more than enough for me as a fan. I want to see him unify all the titles at MW and I do not care if it takes another year or two or even three to achieve that goal. I am willing to enjoy the ride as long as it lasts. Those who are not satisfied with Golovkin achieving the goal HE wishes to achieve, tough luck. Find another fighter to cheer for. Maybe one day Ward will move up to LHW where he belongs and people can follow him instead.

By the way... I am a fan of Hopkins and have no wish to see Golovkin destroy him.

I hope he can go out on a win. And for his sake not a huge puncher, he's having a harder and harder time slip punches these days. Legendary career.
