Former super middleweight champion Lucian Bute (31-2, 24KOs) has his return date set, for August 15th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. Bute has been training the last few weeks with brothers Howard and Otis Grant and feels there is a good chemistry between them.

The fight will be televised on NBC Sports as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series. Bute signed on with manager/adviser Al Haymon in January of this year.

The biggest surprise about this fight is that it is a collaboration between GYM and INTERBOX. Those two promoters have been at war for decades, going way back to when Eric Lucas was fighting for Yvon Michel who split from Interbox to form GYM. Most of their business has been UFC related the past few years.
