George Groves' third world title chance will take place in Las Vegas but not on a Floyd Mayweather undercard, according to WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman.

The Hammersmith boxer, who was recently involved in a boating accident with the Royal Marines, will face current super-middleweight champion Badou Jack.

Floyd Mayweather Jr promotes the WBC title holder and there was a chance that Groves, who lost both world title challenges to Carl Froch, would be boxing on the undercard in his massive September show.

Both fighter must believe the fight is there to be had, provided effort and game plan...

If Groves doesn't turn into Lucian Bute after a Froch beat down and become gun shy, this will be a nice match...
